Linkage

Nothing too exciting going on right now. I'm still searching for an interesting job that won't pay me less than what I'm making staying at home on unemployment. So far, no luck. Thankfully, I've got my freelance gig with Dogster & Catster, and writing articles is a lot of fun and definitely keeps me busy. Speaking of which...

...you can check out my latest article on Dogster right here! It's a throwback to the time when Noé and Pinch were snuggle buddies, and the photos alone are enough to make you say "awww!"

You might be curious about the latest blog called Purplilac Blog I added to my blog list a few weeks ago. I'm not normally into sewing and crafting websites, but this one happens to be my very own mother's blog! She's quite talented, and will be adding a page to her blog soon where you can buy the different bags, purses, etc. that she makes. She wants to see what the response is on her blog before opening up an Etsy shop, so I encourage you to check out her blog and pass it along to those who might be interested. In addition to talking about how she makes her sewing and quilting projects, she'll be posting photos and anecdotes about her life in Canada (and true to our family's nature, posting pics of her pets!)

And one last link before the cute video of my pets: Have you ever wondered what your name would look like written in a cat font? Well, wonder no more! This fun website will create whatever word or phrase you input in a special kitty font. The site is in Japanese, but all you need to do is input your text in the little box then press that button that looks like it would say "enter". I gave it a try with Fly's name, and here is the result:

They all come running when I call them...if I have food.

Max and I are off to Annecy this weekend, so I'll be back next week with a new post of mostly gratuitous pet pics.

I chuckled throughout the entire video. That was great, I'd love to see more videos like this with all four of them.

I loved how (is that Fly?) just slinked away at the end. And how Noé came running and put his face right in the camera. And Pinch, why did he just keep to himself behind all the cats?

Great job on the article. I love how Noé took Pinch under his wing and then let him free when he was ready.

I'm so glad you shared your link to the article in Dogster. I read "My Cat is Best Friends with a Puppy". Then I jumped over to Catster read "5 Things I Learned from Living with Naked Cats". Both are really good articles. I enjoyed them very much

Den Nation - Pinch is easily intimidated by the cats, so when they all herd together, he usually prefers to stay behind! And it was Mini who walked away at the end because I hadn't given out any treats and she got bored.

Kim - Thanks! Glad you enjoyed them. I had a lot of fun writing them, and will definitely continue to post links up here to future articles!

Wow, your mom's got talent. My mom's neighbor makes bags, too, what a coincidence! Love your mom's quilts. Don't know that I'm patient enough for that.
